Therapy of severe bacterial infections where oral therapy is not applicable. Active against Gram-positive & Gram-negative organisms. Applied in skin & soft tissue infections, respiratory tract infections, and urinary tract infections. Occasionally applied in the treatment of acne (severe). Alternative in penicillin allergic patients.
