Ceftriaxone: It is a third-generation broad-spectrum cephalosporin antibiotic against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. Tazobactam: A beta-lactamase inhibitor, which prevents the bacterial resistance against Ceftriaxone and increases the antibacterial effects. Combination is more effective in covering resistant strains of bacteria than Ceftriaxone alone.
