  • Pneumonia and severe lower respiratory tract infections acquired in the hospital. Intra-abdominal infections that are complicated. Complex urinary tract infections such as kidney infections. Gynecological infections including endometritis. Septicemia, meningitis (off-label). Other antibiotics fail, and multi-drug resistant (MDR) bacterial infections occur.
